How to Open a Technical Support Request

Overview

If you purchased your cPanel & WHM license from WebPros International, LLC and experience a technical issue your cPanel server, you can submit a support request. cPanel Technical Support operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We provide support for the following products:

Support request requirements

Before you submit a support request, you will need the following information:

  • Your cPanel & WHM server’s hostname or IP address.

  • Your server’s Support Access ID. To locate your ID, use one of the following methods:

    • Navigate to the Contact cPanel section of WHM’s Support Center interface (WHM » Home » Support » Support Center).

    • Log in to the server as a root-level user and run the /usr/local/cpanel/cpanel -S command.

    Note:

    If you are a cPanel Partner, you do not need to provide a Support Access ID.

Submit a support request

You can submit a support request using the following methods:

The Create Support Ticket interface

You can open a support request with cPanel Technical Support in WHM’s Create Support Ticket interface (WHM » Home » Support » Create Support Ticket). This interface guides you through the support request creation process and helps identify your support request requirements. It also automates the SSH authorization process.

The cPanel Customer Portal

To submit a request for cPanel Technical Support, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the cPanel Customer Portal interface. The cPanel Customer Portal uses the same login details as your cPanel Store account.

  2. Click Submit a Request. You can find this at the top of the cPanel Customer Portal.

  3. Follow the prompts to complete your support request.

After you complete your support request, you will receive an email confirmation. This email contains your support request’s ID. It also provides information about how to grant cPanel Technical Support access to your server.

Note:

You will not receive an email for the created support request if you select the Disable Email Notifications setting.

Manage2

If you are a cPanel Partner, you can open a ticket in Manage2. In the Manage2 dashboard, click Submit a New Priority Support Request. This will direct you to the cPanel Customer Portal interface.

Grant cPanel Technical Support access to your server
